Outline

The GUARD RAIN series prevents soil erosion immediately after construction.

GUARD RAIN is a soil erosion preventive material that can infiltrate the water required for vegetation into the soil while mitigating the impact of raindrops.

Non-woven fabric mainly made of polyester traps a part of rainwater inside and creates a slow-flowing layer on the installation surface.

 

Since the material does not melt due to rainfall, soil erosion does not occur even if it has heavy rain for a long time.

Guard Rain series line-up

Type MT

Enhanced erosion resistance type has a unique surface structure that allows excess rainwater to flow from top to bottom.

Type R

Balanced type has both erosion resistance and greening function

Type SG

Type with base mat for the cut or soft rock surface

Characteristics

  • Due to the effect of non-woven fabric, soil erosion can be prevented immediately after installation.
  • For those types with the vegetation bag, they are equipped with a high-quality thick-layer vegetation base material, it can be used for soil mixed with gravel and soft rocks with a soil hardness of up to about 35 mm.
  • The thickness of the vegetation bag enhances the effect of capturing large seeds.
  • Wire mesh specifications (turtle shell / rhombus) can be selected according to the site conditions such as frost heaving and animal damage.
