GUARD RAIN
Outline
The GUARD RAIN series prevents soil erosion immediately after construction.
GUARD RAIN is a soil erosion preventive material that can infiltrate the water required for vegetation into the soil while mitigating the impact of raindrops.
Non-woven fabric mainly made of polyester traps a part of rainwater inside and creates a slow-flowing layer on the installation surface.
Since the material does not melt due to rainfall, soil erosion does not occur even if it has heavy rain for a long time.

Soil type : Volcanic ash,Soil hardness : 10 to 15mm, Gradient:30°(1 : 1.7), Rainfall Approx : 100mm/h
Guard Rain series line-up
Enhanced erosion resistance type has a unique surface structure that allows excess rainwater to flow from top to bottom.
Balanced type has both erosion resistance and greening function
Type with base mat for the cut or soft rock surface
Characteristics
- Due to the effect of non-woven fabric, soil erosion can be prevented immediately after installation.
- For those types with the vegetation bag, they are equipped with a high-quality thick-layer vegetation base material, it can be used for soil mixed with gravel and soft rocks with a soil hardness of up to about 35 mm.
- The thickness of the vegetation bag enhances the effect of capturing large seeds.
- Wire mesh specifications (turtle shell / rhombus) can be selected according to the site conditions such as frost heaving and animal damage.
